VEX Scoring¶
VEX Scoring (VS) is customizable scoring system originally designed for use in VEX and other small robotics competitions. It has a full-featured match and timing interface, with audio notifications for game period changes, generic support for scoring parameters and per-parameter score multipliers, and an embedded web server with a scoring interface intended for modern mobile web browsers (tested on both Android and iOS devices).
Using the remote scoring interface, multiple judges or referees can easily handle per-alliance scoring on demand and wirelessly, allowing live match scores to easily be entered, calculated, and displayed on the host computer (and potentially to an audience with a projector). The mobile interface is made to be efficient and intuitive on small devices, while the desktop interface aims to accomplish the same goal on larger screens.
